The Administrative RN Supervisor is a member of the Nursing Service Management Team and is responsible for assuring quality patient care. The Administrative Supervisor participates in staffing by making the necessary adjustments to provide the needed staff on each nursing unit by observing the worked hours per patient day, staff mix, and acuity. The Administrative Supervisor has the responsibility and authority to direct the Nursing Service Department in the absence of the Directors and the Vice-President of Patient Care Services/Associate Administrator/Chief Nursing Officer.
Education/Experience: Valid AL RN license required. BSN preferred. State of Alabama RN Licensure. BCLS, ACLS, Minimum of three (3) years as a professional nurse, two(2) of which have been in a hospital Supervisory or Managerial role.
License/Certification required: State of Alabama RN Licensure; BCLS; ACLS
